SHOW STOPPERS

Premier Win .jpg

We have been blessed to have mentors and partners that helped us get started in the discipline of Confirmation years ago.  Today – we have many that are dual Grand Champions and Champions in AKC as well as ASCA.  Our commitment to the Junior Program have produced some amazing Jr Showmanship dogs.  Team work, not just with a village of people has it taken to learn and succeed in finishing a dog, but moreover the partnership between you and your canine companion is the #1 factor for success.  We here are a forever partner to guide and mentor anyone wanting to learn the art of the confirmation ring!

Westminster: 146th Westminster KC May 2022 and 147th Westminster KC May 2023

Our Westminster experience started with two special lil’ Mudi’s “Parker” & “Sweetie”…  First Recognized into AKC in 2022 – Bryson and I hit the ground running by becoming co-owners with Denise Graves of Graves Farms on two exceptional dogs, one home bred right here in Texas!  The relationship not just with the dogs but with friends as a result has since become some of the most cherished friendships and valued relationships we have to date in the dog world.

GCHB CH Grave's Farm's Pea Eye Parker CM CGC ATT – “Parker” I owe so much to this black dog – at times I just don’t have the words.  He is the perfect ambassador for the breed.  Those that encounter Parker are met with a soft eye, and his sweet and loving nature captivates everyone.  Parker opened doors for us here at Broken Arrow that I now realize have been a blessing.  He has made me better!

GCH CH Mcpotter's Creek's Sweet Dream CM CGC – “Sweetie” as with Parker – elevated Bryson’s confidence by learning another breed and just lovin’ a boy!  She is happy and spry and lights up any ring she strides into!  Her loving nature is beyond reproach and just works so well with Bryson.

The first year at the big show was so emotional for me as a mom.  Standing in the ring alongside my 11 year old son – in the BREED RING – made me stand back and stay present in that moment – taking it all in and understanding how hard we worked to get there and the circle of people devoted to make this happen.  FOX News LIVE was there to take in the new breed knowing Bryson and I were a mother son set of exhibitors and understood he was only 11.  Right before we walked into the breed ring, they grabbed us both for a live interview – and Bryson nailed it as it took everything I had to not just have tears of gratefulness and pride in that experience.  Very proud mom moment!!!  Parker and I were honored with an Award Of Merit that year.

I then continued on with Parker the next year – pushing for his Grand Championship Bronze – making it back a second year to Westminster – now with Dock Dogs in tow!  What a ride!!!  Parker showed for me like the rockstar he is – and Graves Farm SWEPT Westminster in the Breed Ring (winning Best Opposite Sex, Select Dog, and Select Bitch with ALL Graves Farm bred dogs right here from Texas)!  I am so proud of Denise and her breed program and it is a true honor to be on the end of a lead of any of her dogs.  Parker and I ended his show career last year at 147th Westminster Kennel Club Show with Select Dog – finalizing a dream and goal of mine for Parker.  Earning his Grand Championship Bronze at Westminster was the perfect retirement gift I could have given to him.  He himself opened so many doors for me and my family that my commitment to him and gratitude I could never repay to this special lil’ black dog.

To Parker… I love you buddy!  Let retirement be as grand as are you – breed the best – and I will carry on your legacy of great Mudi – Cheers to a dog that is just as special as the breed he represents.

In the Spotlight

premier Texas aussie breeder

I remember getting the referral from a peer that Marleina Storey was trying to find a blue merle female that would be her next all around versatile dog.   After talking with Marleina – I knew a hold back from that year would be a perfect fit!   We decided that Timber would thrive under Marleina’s experience – and the relationship just made sense!  Man were we right!   The bond that these two have is remarkable… the results demonstrate that hands down.   Marleina writes “Thank You SOOO Much!!!  I love this girl to death!  She is SOOO Smart – the BEST Good Girl!”

Congrats to Marleina Storey (Aiken, SC) & “Timber” for being the May 2024 – In The Spotlight Team!!!!
